A short message: where you live, whether you have a garden, and whether you have had pets before. Only the person who posted the listing can see your contact details.

We recommend meeting in person and having a trial period of a few days.

Whether it is your animal or one you found whose owner you could not locate, the listing joins the same local network as lost-pet alerts: the live map, the city page and automatic matches.

A good adoption takes time.
We review listings after they are posted and stop any attempt to sell an animal. The rest is up to the two people who meet.
Only documented sterilisation or treatment costs may be requested. Listings with a price are removed.
No adoption is finalised through messages alone. Meet the animal and the person before deciding.
A few days for the animal to stay in your home, with the option to change your mind.
If it does not work out, the listing can be reopened for free at any time.
