What Reunika is

Reunika is a platform for lost, found and adoptable pets. Anyone can post a listing for free: it gets a public page, a spot on the live map, a printable poster with a QR code, automatic matching with other listings and a dashboard for sightings. Optionally, you can buy a paid alert that promotes the listing to people around the place where the pet was lost.

Who can use it

• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with a parent or guardian.
• You must give accurate information and use a real email address that you control.
• You may only post about a pet you own, have found, or are authorised to rehome.

Your listing and your content

You keep all rights to the photos and text you post. So that we can do our job, you grant Reunika a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt (for example crop for a poster or an ad) and distribute that content on the site, in posters, in emails and, if you buy a paid alert, on our social media pages and in ads. The licence ends when you delete the listing, except for copies already shared or printed by others.

• Post only your own photos or photos you are allowed to use.
• Do not include phone numbers, home addresses or other people's personal data in the text: contact goes through the platform.
• Do not sell animals. Adoption listings must be free of charge.
• Do not post false, misleading, abusive or unlawful content, and do not post the same pet several times.
• Mark the listing as resolved when the pet is home. It helps everyone searching.

Moderation

Listings are published instantly and reviewed right after, partly with automated tools. We may edit, hide or remove any listing, sighting or comment that breaks these terms, looks fraudulent or harms the service, and we may block repeat offenders. We are not obliged to review everything and we do not vouch for content posted by users.

Paid alerts

• A paid alert publishes your listing on our Facebook page and promotes it as a paid ad to people within the radius you chose, for the period shown at checkout.
• The price shown in the chat is exactly the price you pay. It is a one-time payment, with no subscription.
• The campaign starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. Because ad costs are paid to Meta immediately, refunds follow our Refund policy. By asking us to start immediately, you agree that your right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed.
• We choose how the ad is worded and targeted, within the radius you picked, and we may stop it early if the pet is found or the listing breaks these terms.
• Reach depends on Meta's delivery and on how many people are in the area. We cannot guarantee a number of views, sightings or that the pet will be found.

Donations

Donations on the Support page are voluntary contributions to the running of the platform, one-time or monthly. Monthly donations can be cancelled at any time from the link in the receipt email or by writing to us. Donations do not buy a product or service and are not refundable, except where the law requires it.

Sightings and contact between users

People who see a pet can send a sighting through the listing page. We forward it to the owner but we cannot verify who sent it. Meet in public places, ask for a recent photo or video before paying anything, and read our guide on lost pet scams. Reunika is not a party to any arrangement between users.

What we cannot promise

We do our best to keep the site online and accurate, but we provide it as is. We do not guarantee that a pet will be found, that a listing will be seen by a particular number of people, or that the service will be available without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Prohibited use

• Scraping listings or contacting users for purposes other than helping with that specific pet.
• Sending unsolicited offers, advertising or ransom demands to owners.
• Impersonating Reunika, its staff or another user.
• Interfering with the security or operation of the site, or using automated tools to post.

Our content and brand

The Reunika name, logo, design, texts, guides and software belong to Infoplus Media Group SRL or its licensors. You may print and share posters and listing pages to help find a pet. Any other reuse needs our written permission.

Third-party services

The site uses Stripe for payments, Meta for paid alerts, OpenStreetMap-based maps and other providers listed in the Privacy policy. Their terms apply to your use of their services. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your listing at any time from the dashboard or by writing to us. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. Sections about content licences already exercised, liability and governing law survive termination.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable EU consumer law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where they live. Disputes are settled by the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania, unless the law gives you the right to sue where you live. You can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or the consumer authority in your country.
